Dishy enamelware has a durable enamel surface which is scratch resistant. It is suitable for use on gas and electric hobs and convection stovetops, and is oven safe to 270°C.

The enamel surface is applied by hand. Minor surface irregularities & unfinished edges are a normal result of the metal working & enameling process.

As with any kind of dinnerware, some scratching & dulling can occur over time. All this adds to the distinctive characteristics of quality enamelware.

• Gas / Electric / Induction hob & oven safe.
• Don't scrub with abrasives on enamel surface.
• Use sharp edged metal utensils with care.
• Do not use enamelware in microwaves.
• Enamel on steel is hard & strong, but like all good ceramic materials, it will chip if handled too roughly.
• Chipping the outer layer can expose the steel beneath, which will naturally oxidise. The enamelware will still remain safe to use, and if anything, gains a little more character.
• With proper care, this enamelware will last for many enjoyable years to come.
